Overview

The many attractions on the South Coast of Jamaica are demurely tucked away in the sleepy countryside towns of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth. This is where you go for a real feel of rural Jamaica that is as authentic and as community-based as one can imagine. Floyd’s Pelican Bar is a tiny bar made of driftwood stilted on a huge sandbar about ¾ mile out in the sea. Floyd’s Pelican Bar is located in Parottee Bay on the South Coast of Jamaica and has to be one of the most unique places to eat and have a drink in the entire world – hands down the best bar in the Caribbean! As one of the crown jewels of our island, YS Falls has been open to the public since 1992, but the property has been a working sugar cane farm since the 1800s. The main attraction is the seven cascading waterfalls that flow into natural pools. Visitors can explore these falls, take a dip in the natural spring pool, stroll through the gardens, and ride a zipline through the trees.
