Join highly recommended Grape Escapes Germany for this more personal tour through the Rheinvalley from the wine capital Mainz Enjoy the scenery and stunning vineyard views as you discover wines form historical & boutique Riesling estates. Take in the romantic medieval villages along the Rhine River as it curves its way down to the famous village of Rüdesheim. After tasting several wines we will stop for a light lunch of local wine tapas. Tour Highlights & Inclusions * Hotel pick up and drop off Mainz or Wiesbaden area. * Visit historical palace wine estates tasting some of the worlds most famous Riesling * We will go into the vineyards for stunning views with wine * taste wines from iconic vineyards with me as your expert guide tatsing about 20 wines * Try local wine tapas, like regional bratwurst charcuterie & baked goods * Water along the way. * Small group tour max 8 guests. * in summer this tour can start later afternoon sipping wines as the sun starts to go down!
