The crystal-clear water bubbles up from deep within the earth, creating a mesmerizing deep blue “eye” surrounded by lush greenery. 3️⃣ Butrint National Park Our final stop is the Butrint National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases layers of history from ancient civilizations. Here, you’ll explore: The Roman theatre The Temple of Asclepius The aqueduct The Byzantine church Strolling through the park feels like traveling through time — from the Hellenistic period to Roman and Byzantine eras — all set amidst tranquil natural scenery.
