The park is made of wide open grass plains, and scattered acacia bush and plays host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. All this is in the backdrop of the city scrappers. You will have a short rest at one viewpoint located in the park and also the best place for the photos.
