Know the Pantanal – the largest floodplain on the planet, located in the center of the South American continent – is America’s main ecological sanctuary. The Chapada dos Guimarães National Park – This is an average of 760 m (2,500 feet) above sea level – is home to the sources of some of the main rivers that flow into the Pantanal. Its crystal clear waterfalls, streams, rock formations, and fauna give the National Park a unique beauty. Nobres has crystal clear rivers full of fish, caves, and waterfalls.
