OKC Underground: Indoor History Tour

4.8 · 6 Reviews

Overview

Explore the quirky underground tunnels of Oklahoma City, built during urban renewal in the 70s. This tour highlights modern art installations, historic photographs, and the secrets of previous tunnels, including notorious gambling dens. Today's tunnels and skybridges connect downtown offices and garages, allowing people to get around while sheltered from the weather. They are free and open to the public on weekdays. Our guided tour lets you delve into history without getting lost and explore two historic hotel lobbies. Please note: on-going repairs sometimes close part of the Underground and we might have to walk outside to bypass any closed sections. - Mostly indoors - 1.25 hours, 1 mile - Minimum of 2 adults required to run the tour - Not accessible to wheelchairs; escalators or stairs may be required
