Important Notice for Visitors to Arakurayama Sengen Shrine & Chureito Pagoda Please note that to reach the iconic Chureito Pagoda and viewing platform, visitors must climb approximately 398 stone steps. These steps are fairly steep and may be challenging for those with mobility issues or certain health conditions. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended. Take your time and rest as needed during the climb. There is also a sloped walking path (no stairs) that offers an alternative route. While longer, it is more gradual and may be easier for some guests. During peak seasons (e.g., cherry blossom or autumn foliage), the path may be crowded—please be courteous and patient. There are no elevators or escalators available. If you are concerned about the physical challenge, please consult your guide or us in advance.
We only serve alcoholic drinks for travelers 21 years old and above.
