Experience Geirangerfjord from the water on this unforgettable kayak tour. Paddle through one of Norway’s most spectacular fjords, surrounded by towering mountains, steep cliffs, and lush green slopes. Departing from the activity center below the Grande Fjord Hotel in Geiranger, the tour begins with a short safety briefing and paddling introduction. Once on the water, follow your experienced local guide toward the famous waterfalls The Seven Sisters and The Suitor, where powerful streams cascade dramatically down the mountainsides. Along the way, your guide shares engaging stories and facts about the fjord, its history, and local traditions. Several stops are included for rest, photos, and taking in the breathtaking scenery. No previous kayaking experience is required, but participants should be in good physical condition. A shorter kayak tour is also available for those seeking a lighter experience. Important: This tour departs from Geiranger only and cannot be joined from Ålesund.
