Overview

This tour includes the World Heritage Site Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine in western Shimane Prefecture and Iwami Kagura, a Japanese Heritage Site, both of which are full of attractions. All transportation is by cab, so there is no need to worry about carrying around luggage. In the streets of Omori, where you can feel the prosperity of Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine, you will enjoy shopping and lunch at fashionable stores while feeling the history. At the tunnels, you will see many powerful spots such as the remains of chisel digging and shafts. Afterwards, we will head to a hotel in Hamada City for dinner, followed by an Iwami Kagura performance with the locals. The day will end with a close-up look at the dynamic performance, with its glittering costumes and fire-breathing effects.
