Isla de la Plata Diving & Whale Watching Adventure

Overview

Isla de la Plata is especially renowned for its significant population of hawksbill sea turtles, as well as the presence of giant manta rays and, during the season (June to October), humpback whale watching. Our adventure begins in Puerto López at 08:00 am, where we will board a boat and head towards the island. During the navigation, in season, you will have the opportunity to observe humpback whales in their natural habitat. Upon arrival at the first dive site, you will receive the necessary equipment along with a brief instruction to begin your first immersion, where you can explore the richness of the underwater world in crystal-clear waters. After a short break, we will prepare for the second dive, continuing to discover the fascinating marine life of Ecuador’s coast. At the end of the experience, you will enjoy a delicious box lunch before returning to Puerto López, concluding an unforgettable day in close contact with nature.
