Drive yourself to meet your guide at Yagrumo Restrobar, Fajardo, where you'll follow your guide into El Yunque Rainforest in your rented/owned vehicle. Visit the southeast area of El Yunque Rainforest and enjoy a 30-minute hike to the first waterfall. Admire the landscape, swim, rope swing, or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a waterslide and cliff jump into the river. Learn about the rainforest’s history, iguanas, guava trees, bamboo, and century-old trees. This adventure is ideal for nature lovers seeking an authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. Good physical condition is required; the hike is on natural terrain, uneven, muddy, and fun. Transportation not provided. No Uber or taxis allowed. Please wear closed-toe shoes such as sneakers, water shoes, or hiking sandals; NO flip-flops, slide in, crocs or any open toed shoes .

It’s a requirement to have an owned/rented vehicle in order to participate as this tour doesn’t provide transportation at any point. Uber/taxis aren’t allowed as the meeting point is not the final destination.
Safety is our priority, in order for you to enjoy the experience to its fullest we may have to slightly forward or delay your start time after reservations are made, to avoid heavy flow of people and betterment of the experience. The notification will be sent by email the evening prior the tour.
Good physical condition required • Participants must be able to hike more than 35 minutes
Participants with; Walking limitations, Overweight Issues, Permanent Injuries, Recent surgeries or not physically fit are NOT recommended as a good physical condition is required to complete this experience.
** If you're traveling with a group but reserved your space separately, you have to notify us that you're together. The chances of being assigned to different tour guides are high, and changes can't be made on the day of the tour ** IMPORTANT: Don’t use the “Special Requirements “ field, contact the provider or notify Viator Customer Support directly.
Pictures AREN’T part of this experience, if you’d like to bring your phone with you keep in mind you should have a waterproof pouch in order to protect it as it can get damaged during the excursion. Some guides will take pictures which they will share after the tour is done. It’s not their obligation to send this pictures to you after you’ve parted ways.
OFFICE HOURS: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. Thursday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
We recommend shoes that you won't mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and a thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops, crocs or slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.

Pregnant guests CAN'T participate. To keep the baby/babies and mothers safe we don't allow expecting mommas on this tour as the terrain is uneven and slippery (muddy), therefore making it dangerous for you and your little one(s).
