Overview

The hike from Chã das Caldeiras reveals life in the giant crater, its villagers and its ecosystem. Then you will enter the forest park Monte Velha until you reach the heights of Ribeira Filipe on the western part of the island. From here you can admire the beauty of the landscape on the northern part of the island.
