As you pedal, the easy way, don't forget to make plenty of stops to breathe in the sea air, take in the breathtaking scenery, and, of course, take a selfie or two. Rent an electric bike and explore miles and miles of the stunning California coastline and the beautiful rolling hills and vineyards of the central coast.

Routes include biking on city streets alongside vehicle traffic, including stretches with and without designated bike lanes. During the summer and on weekends, traffic can be heavier, especially along the frontage road between Shell Beach and Avila Beach. Riders should be comfortable sharing the road and making turns across traffic when needed.
Electric bikes are heavier and faster than traditional pedal bikes, so good balance and basic bike-handling skills are essential for a safe and enjoyable experience.
