Overview

After pickup, travel to Kalishta to visit the unique monastery carved into the mountain above Lake Ohrid. Learn about the secluded life of a monk devoted entirely to religion and explore the church of Holy Mother Mary, famous for its beautiful frescoes and the rare Black Madonna icon. Guests who prefer can relax with a coffee by the lake. Continue to Struga, known as the City of Poetry and Bridges and host of the renowned Struga Poetry Evenings. Enjoy a short guided walk to see where Lake Ohrid flows into the Black Drim River, along with bridges, monuments, and the local market. The final stop is Vevchani, a self-proclaimed independent town famous for its traditions, pagan Carnival, and natural springs. Enjoy free time for lunch, followed by a guided walk through the village and its scenic springs before returning. From sacred silence, poetic streets to crystal springs, every moment is a photo waiting to be taken.
