This is an intimate Douro Valley experience at a small, family-run organic vineyard, not a commercial winery visit or standard restaurant lunch. Guests walk through the estate vineyards, learn how organic wine is produced directly from the people who make it, and taste small-production wines that reflect the character of the land. Lunch is a traditional home-style Portuguese meal prepared with seasonal ingredients, many from the estate itself. Each of the four food moments is paired with an estate wine, including three dry wines and one Port. A genuine experience of real Douro wine, local food, and Portuguese hospitality, shared around the table at Quinta dos Novais.
