Sachsenhausen was the first purpose-built concentration camp, created as a centre of terror, persecution, and systematic brutality. Initially, it imprisoned those the Nazi regime considered racially, socially, or politically undesirable. Travel through the town of Oranienburg and learn how the local community was connected to the camp.
