Overview

Come and discover, in French, Nancy of the Belle Époque, when the city shone internationally in the economic, cultural and especially artistic fields! Many artists joined forces to form the Ecole de Nancy and became known in many fields: architecture, cabinetry, ironwork, painting, glassware, etc. At the end of the 19th century, architects abounded in ingenuity and inspiration to make their designs unique works. They were aided by the technological advances of the time which allowed the use of new materials. We will discover the witnesses of this prosperous past during a walk in the city center of Nancy where the architectural masterpieces serve as havens for exceptional pieces.
